Elvira II: The Jaws of Cerberus was released by Flair software in 1992. This game is a must play game if you have a C64. It’s FUN to play and has some amazing graphics for the Commodore 64. The USA version came on 4 disks. This game does use a CODE WHEEL and thanks to Craig A. Ernster, we now have it documented online for others. Here is a PDF of the three parts: elvira codewheel. Again you just need to Print out and Cut out! Check out some screen shots from this game.

STARFLIGHT was a role-playing game released in 1989 by Electronic Arts.
It’s copy protect was a Code Wheel.
I’ve seen the two different code wheel colors.
One is Purple with white text and the other is Black with white text. I converted the purple one to black and white and posted online below.

Night Shift Code Wheel

Night Shift is a computer game developed and published in 1990 by Lucasfilm Games, now known as LucasArts. It is a unique action game where the hero is a worker in a factory owned by Industrial Might and Logic (a parody of Industrial Light and Magic). Your character ensures that the factory is working properly as it cranks out Star Wars action figures, including those of stormtroopers and Darth Vader. The object of the game is to always ensure the factory is working properly, and to move in an increasingly better home. (Wikipedia)
This game was release at the end of the game cycle on the Commodore 64 and used a code wheel for it’s copy protection. There is not one online yet.
But thanks to: Craig A. Ernster, we now have one.

Like most Electronic Arts C64 disk there is copy protection on the disk, but the game also uses an off disk protection – the Code Wheel.
The game ask the player to match a gemstone (smaller top wheel) and the name of a world on which another branch of the Galactic Museum exists (the bottom wheel). Then you have to enter the six digit code from the requested RING number.
I did not have this code wheel, but thanks and credits to Moloch here it is in PDF: Legacy-Ancients-CW
Magic Johnson Code Sheet
This is a harder to find basketball game published in 1990 by Virgin Mastertronic. The disk does not have any copy protection, but after the boot up screen the program goes to the “User Verification Sequence” screen see the image below.
I could find a list of codes online, BUT it is not complete, it only contains about 1/2 the codes used in this program.
Again thanks to: Craig A. Ernster we now have a complete list of codes used. Download the PDF HERE:MAGIC MVP Johnson Sheet
